Dumbo, Brooklyn

The first place to visit when coming to the city. Take a nice view of the Brooklyn bridge and gaze over Manhattan. Dumbo gives you sites to see as you can walk around different areas and take part in the many things it has to offer.

How to get to Dumbo?

To get to Dumbo Brooklyn you can take the 2 or 3 train to Clark street and then walk from there.

Stores and shops.

When going to dumbo Brooklyn there are many stores and shops to go to. Some of which are not many you could find. For example, on a recent visit to Dumbo I went into a store that specialized in all types of chocolate. Other stores in Dumbo are also homemade items and many different local businesses.

Fun things to do.

When finding fun things to do, one of the first places you should go to is the carousel that sits right in front of the river that looks towards Manhattan. It also right below the Brooklyn Bridge You could also go fishing near the shore of the river or just relax. You could take a bike ride around the tranquil area. Maybe you even want to take a brief walk to the park that's near by, or just observe the artwork that's present every where. Walking around the area will help you find something to do.

Visit Vinegar Hill

Enjoy nice little shops in a small little area that can give you a step into an old world. It can give you a view of the industrial life when walking to the neighborhood, and sense of a small peaceful community when discovering the small area. Though it may not be a lot to look at it's worth it.
