Museum of the Moving Image presents exhibitions, education programs, significant moving-image works, and collecting and preserving moving-image related artifacts in order to understand and appreciate art, art history, as well as technique, and technology of film, television, and digital media. The exhibits include significant audio and visual components designed also help understand the history of the industry and how it has evolved. There are also panel discussions about current movies at the museum which are frequently held. It is also home to one of the most significant collections of video games and gaming hardware.
Visiting hours are: Wednesday–Thursday: 10:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Friday: 10:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m. (free admission: 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.) Saturday and Sunday: 10:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Closed Monday (except for select holiday openings) Closed Tuesday (except for group visits by appointment)
And Tickets are: $15 adults that are 18 and older $11 senior citizens who are 6 and older $11 students with valid ID who are 18 and older $9 youth who are ages 3-17 And it's free for Museum members and children under 3
Of course there's no refunds but keep in mind that it you want to buy it online then you also have to pay a two dollar transaction fee in addition to the price.
There are also tickets for screening and events as well. and the tickets for those screening events are: $15 adults $11 seniors citizens $11 students who are 18 and up with valid ID $9 youth (same age as the admissions tickets) And family program is free for Museum members at the Film Lover and Kids Premium levels and above, and children under 3.
