Parks are special to everyone.

The renowned movie Men in Black that came out in 1997, was another Sci-fi movie a government agency who's job is to regulate all things alien on Earth. They have to stop a intergalactic terrorist from killing two ambassadors from opposing galaxies that live in New York.
The movie made people nostalgic as many remembered it as Sci-fi movie that left people out of this world. People deeply enjoyed the movies plot and action scenes as well as a few comedy scenes that it dropped to make audiences laugh.
Of course Men in Black had to have a sequel which was Men in Black 2.
The movie had an iconic scene where they blew up the statue of the globe in Flushing medaow park. Don't worry the statue isn't actually blown up, it still stands at the park for visitors today.
The park has a lot to offer as many have barbuces there and outdoor activities, like biking, running, visiting the small zoo the park offers as well as a museum. The park serves as both a film location and a place for those to enjoy themselves.
